Brooke's Message

Welcome Back to Term 2 đ
Welcome back everyone!Â
Â
Itâs been so lovely to see how smoothly students have returned to school. The break already feels like a distant memory, and students seem happy, settled, and ready to learn.
Â
We are definitely hitting the ground running this term! Individual Education Plans (IEPs) continue to guide learning, helping each student access the curriculum at their own level.Â
Â
We look forward to sharing their progress with you later in the term.
Quick Reminders
đ± Devices at School
A quick reminder that mobile phones, iPads with cellular data, and smart watches should be:
- Switched off
Safely stored during the school day
Â
If your child doesnât need their device for travel, leaving it at home is always best. If devices arenât put away, weâll get in touch to work through next steps together.
đ School Uniform
Wearing school uniform helps students:
- Feel included and part of the school community
- Start the day with less stress
- Get into a âready for learningâ mindset
Stay safe and easily identifiable
Â
We know every child is different, and weâre always happy to work with families if adjustments are needed.
đ Structured TEACCHing
Weâre very excited to welcome back Kathy Hearsey, who is supporting our staff with professional learning and working alongside teams in classrooms. Her experience is a fantastic asset to our school.
đ©âđ« Staffing Update
Like all busy schools, we have a few staffing changes this term, including retirements, maternity leave, and some staff moving on to new opportunities.
Â
We always do our best to plan ahead, and our leadership team will keep you updated along the way.
We look forward to a great term of learning, growth, and connection.
Â
Brooke
