Remembrance Day Prayer Service
On Tuesday, our school community gathered at the flagpoles for a special Remembrance Day prayer service, unfortunately the weather turned and we had to move to the library to finish our service. Together, we paused to honour and remember the courage and sacrifice of those who have served our country in times of war and peace. Students and staff reflected in prayer and silence, giving thanks for the freedom and peace we enjoy today. As we listened to the Ode, raised the flag, and sang the national anthem, we were reminded of our call to be peacemakers in our world, following the example of Jesus, the Prince of Peace.
Mission Day Fun
Tomorrow, our students will lead our annual Mission Day Fete, an event that celebrates our Catholic identity and our commitment to living out the Gospel through action. Mission Day is a special opportunity for our school community to support the work of Catholic Missions, helping those in need both in Australia and around the world. Through their stalls, games, and activities, the children are putting their faith into action, showing generosity, compassion, and a sense of justice for others.
