Science

Term 4 is flying by but there is still so much exciting learning to come in Science!

Our Prep students have been exploring the fascinating world of plant life as part of their Biology unit, discovering how living things grow, change, and depend on their environment. Across the other year levels, students have been investigating Physical Science, engaging in hands-on activities to understand the forces that shape the world around us.

This week, the Year 2 students explored the concept of gravitational pull making and testing their own paper helicopters. Through this experiment, they discovered how the spinning blades create air resistance, allowing the helicopters to stay in the air just a little longer. It has been wonderful to see such curiosity and enthusiasm as our young scientists continue to explore, experiment, and make new discoveries.
