College Basketball
Our U12B girls went up against Barber Babes Black, with College finishing with a 29-point win (33–4). The girls showcased their teamwork and played hard until the full-time buzzer.
U14B girls Snowy Owls had a forfeit against Saint Mary’s.
The U16B girls Snowy Owls had a rocky start against Minders White, taking a while to warm up, but once they settled in, it was theirs, with a 10-point win, 38 – 28. Players showed up for one another, whether on the defensive or offensive side. A big thank you to our fill-ins for the night, Henrietta Patterson and Zoya Mohammad, and to all players, who showed resilience when the game took on a physical side.
Our College Div 2 Snowy Owl team had a slow start against GT Storm Black, down 14-17 in the first half. They kicked into gear and started dropping shots after halftime, with high intensity from both sides. The girls came out with a cracking win of 36 – 25, with Saskia Gould and Ava Murrihy putting up shots, driving to the basket and drawing fouls.
The Div 3 Majestic Owls challenged the Crocodiles to a 38 – 19 win. The girls had a roaring start, taking an early lead, but the pressure from the Crocodiles put them in a nervous spot as they continued to fight for the ball. Player of the game was Elsie Brown, who scored 12 points for her team, and each player showed their determination and teamwork on the court.
Thank you to everyone who is part of the college family and brings their children to these basketball games, and especially to our umpires, without whom we wouldn’t be playing. So, a big thanks to you.

Football - Girls GD
Last Friday, our senior girls' football team enjoyed a fun day of competition against three other schools. As our numbers were a little short due to injury and illness, we combined with Baimbridge and Good Shepherd.
Our first game was against Portland, and we won easily. Our second game was against Monivae, with the girls recording a convincing 19-point win. Unfortunately, our winning streak was broken by Baimbridge, as the girls lost by 1 point.
Ava Murrihy, Misha Wear, Ava Cottle, Felicity Rentsch and Hannah Young were all amongst the better players.
Thank you to Coach Louis Lazzari, Miss Andrews, and Mr Golding for organising the day.

Hockey
The College Div One Women's played another great game against Dunkeld Red, winning 3-1. It was a fantastic final game for Bella, who scored two goals, with Grace Potter scoring our final goal. Our back line was held strong together by Georgia Adams and Jess Hein, turning the ball over during critical moments.
We thank Bella for her contribution to the team over the term and wish her well with her Hockey future. She will be missed!
