School Sports - What's Happening

DIVISIONAL CROSS COUNTRY - AWESOME EFFORT FROM OUR RUNNERS!

We had three outstanding runners, Amy V, Ollie A, and Indy B, head to St Arnaud to represent Holy Rosary at the Divisional Cross Country. They should all feel super proud of themselves for making it to this level. The weather wasn’t exactly on their side, with a bit of rain around, but they pushed through and gave it their best effort.

A big shout‑out to Indy, who finished 4th overall and has now qualified for the State Cross Country in Melbourne on July 16T. What an achievement! We’re all behind him as he gets ready for the big day.

Ollie (19th) and Amy (34th) also ran brilliantly in a huge field of very talented runners from across northern Victoria.

Well done to all three, you’ve done Holy Rosary very proud.

SEDA STUDENTS BRING SPORT AND FUN TO HOLY ROSARY

We welcomed SEDA Year 11 and 12 students to Holy Rosary on Thursday. Their visit kicked off a fantastic series of fun, active, and engaging sports sessions for all our year levels.

Across the day, students participated in a variety of interactive games focused on cricket, football, basketball, netball and soccer. Each session ran for an hour, and it was clear from the smiles, teamwork, and energy that our students were loving every moment.

We extend a big thank you to the SEDA students and staff for generously volunteering their time over 3–4 weeks to run these sessions. Their enthusiasm and leadership bring wonderful opportunities for our students to learn, play, and grow through sport.
