Feast of Corpus Christi Celebration
Last Friday, we celebrated our school's Feast Day, the Feast of Corpus Christi. The day began with a special Mass, followed by a variety of classroom activities for students to enjoy.
Children were treated to a magnificent sausage sizzle, which I had the pleasure of cooking for everyone. The children also enjoyed a refreshing Zooper Dooper treat.
In the afternoon, students gathered in their communities for a movie session complete with popcorn. It was a wonderful way to celebrate together and a great way to end the week.
Learning Expo
I hope you have all marked the date of our world-famous Learning Expo in your diaries.
Date: Wednesday 24th June
Time: 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm
We look forward to seeing you there for an exciting afternoon of learning, sharing, and celebrating student achievements.
Sibling Enrolments for 2027
A friendly reminder to families:
If you have a child starting school in 2027, please remember to submit an enrolment application.
You can apply online via the following link
https://www.cckingsville.catholic.edu.au/enrolment-information/enrol-now/
Enrolment forms are also available to collect from the school office.
If you know of other families still to enrol their child in Year Prep next year, please ask them to contact Laura or Debbie in the office to arrange a school tour.
Staffing Update
At the end of this term, we will bid farewell to Miss Libby Napier.
After two and a half years as a valued member of our staff, Libby has been presented with an opportunity to pursue a new career pathway in Athlete Development, with a particular focus on working with children. This is an area that deeply interests Libby, and after careful consideration, she has decided to pursue this new career opportunity.
We are deeply grateful for the love and care Libby has given to the children entrusted to her and for the many ways she has enriched our school.
While we will certainly miss Libby as a classroom teacher, we are excited for her as she takes this next step in her professional journey.
The good news is that this is not necessarily goodbye. Libby may undertake some Casual Relief Teaching (CRT) days with us in the future, so there is every chance that students and families will still see her around the school from time to time.

Parents Night Out
