Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

This Friday, 12th June, we will be attending Mass at 9:15 to celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.  Families are welcome to join us.

The Sacred Heart of Jesus represents the great love and care Jesus has for everyone in the world. At Corpus Christi, we aim to be just like Jesus by caring for others through our Social Justice actions and by living out the Catholic Social Teachings of the Dignity of the Human Person and the Preferential Option for the Poor.

We thank you for the generous donations of food and hygiene products made towards our food drive for the St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal.

There is still time to send in some items to place in the donation baskets before Friday 19th June.

Prayer of Thanksgiving and Praise to the Sacred Heart

Lord, you deserve all honor and praise,

because your love is perfect 

and your heart sublime.

My heart is filled to overflowing 

with gratitude for the many blessings 

and graces you have bestowed upon me 

and those whom I love.

Forever undeserving, may I always be attentive and never take for granted the gifts of mercy and love that flow so freely and generously  from your Sacred Heart. 

Heart of Jesus, I adore you.

Heart of Jesus, I praise you.

Heart of Jesus, I thank you.

Heart of Jesus, I love you

Food Drive for the St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal

We invite all the students in our school to donate some food or hygiene items to the St Vincent de Paul Society’s Winter Appeal. Items needed include:

Canned foods:

Soup

Tuna

Fruit

Vegetables

Baked Beans/Spaghetti

Packet foods:

Pasta and jars of pasta sauce

Small packets of rice

2 Minute Noodles

Cup a Soup

Small Boxes Cereal/Weet-Bix etc.

Biscuits: Sweet or savoury

Coffee/Tea/Hot Chocolate

Full Cream Long Life Milk

Hygiene items:

Toothpaste

Toothbrushes

Shampoo

Body Wash

Soap 

Deodorant

Donation baskets will be available in each Learning Community until Friday, 19th June.
