2026 Prep Uniform Packages - Closing Term 2
Applications for the Prep Uniform Package through State Schools' Relief (SSR) are still open for Prep students who are eligible for Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) funding. Where a school uniform cannot be supplied directly, families will receive a voucher that can be redeemed through the our uniform supplier to help cover the cost of uniforms.
Reminder: Applications close on Friday 26 June (end of Term 2).
Please note: Receiving uniform support through SSR does not affect a family's CSEF payment.
If you are in need of assistance for school uniform items for your child/ren but do not receive CSEF, an application may still be submitted under the Financial Hardship category.

Real Support Right Now
The Victorian Government has policies and programs in schools to help your family with the cost of living.
School Breakfast Clubs:
At LPPS we offer breakfast club to students on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30-8:50am. Options include toast, fruit cups, fresh fruit, milk and popcorn.
More Affordable Uniforms:
From 2026, uniforms at Victorian public schools with a dress code cannot include school logos on pants, shorts, skirts, skorts, leggings or socks. This helps reduce uniform costs for families.
At LPPS we have regular second hand uniform stalls, to help families with the cost of uniforms. Prices for items are $5 or $10. Keep a look out on compass and in the newsletter for dates.
Please speak to our Wellbeing Team for support if you are having difficulty with the cost of school uniforms.
Glasses for Kids:
The Glasses for Kids program offers free vision screening for Prep to Grade 3 students. Students can also get further free vision testing and glasses if they need them.
Getting glasses through the Glasses for Kids program can help your child to see better. This makes it easier for them to learn, read and play at school. Good vision helps children do their best in class and feel more confident every day.
The program is optional and parental consent is required before students take part.
Families will be notifed when the program will be at LPPS.
