A Night to Remember at the Inaugural Soul and Blues Festival
Last Thursday evening, our inaugural Soul and Blues Festival transformed the campus into a memorable night of music, connection and community.
Students, staff and professional musicians, including special guest, Aria award winner, Phil Burton of Human Nature, shared the stage in a program that showcased the talent, dedication and enthusiasm of our performers.
Congratulations to our talented student performers, the PHPA, and the entire Music faculty who generously contributed their time and expertise to make the event a great success. Their hard work and commitment created an enjoyable evening for all who attended.
A highlight was seeing students, staff and families sharing the dance floor and participating in a conga line - a first for Pittwater House. It was a wonderful reflection of the strong sense of belonging and community that makes our school so special.
As Dr Middleton remarked during the evening, “Thank you for choosing to be a great school.” Those words perfectly captured the spirit of the festival—a celebration not only of music, but of the people who make our community a wonderful place to learn, perform and grow.
We look forward to the Soul and Blues Festival returning for many years to come.
