Upcoming Sport Dates

Athletics Carnival 2-6

Our Athletics Carnival will be held this Monday 23rd March at the Ridge Sporting Complex. Please see the attached reminder note and order of events which has already been shared with all families from 2-6. 

Cross Country Results

Congratulations to all students who gave it their best at our schools cross country trial on Monday 23rd February. We were so impressed with the effort and  sportsmanship displayed on the day. This venue offers students an opportunity to challenge themselves with quite a steep hill part of the running path.

The day would not have been possible without our parent  volunteers, teachers and sport captains who contributed to the days success. Students who came 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th and who met the qualifying time have been invited to compete at the Sydney Cross Country Championships on 12th May at Sydney Motor Sports Park. Below are the results from the trial:

JERSEY UPDATE

Students who receive a jersey for any upcoming trial, gala day or interschool sport will be recorded as proof of this borrowing method. This will allow our school to continue to use these jerseys and have enough for all students to wear and represent our school proudly at the many sporting events we provide to all students. Once jerseys are washed and returned to the school office, our staff will mark that the jersey has been returned. Any jerseys not returned will incur replacement fee.

Please check the wardrobes at home and return any jerseys of any style (singlet, soccer jersey or footy jersey) which belongs to the school. Thank you for the cooperation with this matter.

Interschool Sport

Compass events have been created for Year 4 interschool sport on Wednesday 25th March and for the optional Stage 3 Interschool Netball with Inclusive European Handball. Please ensure you provide permission for your child to attend this event. Below is an outline of all interschool sport across all grades for 2026.

Below is a document for the Stage 3 level 1 Interschool sport and how to trial for the team. Please note the note has been amended with a new trial date for level 1 oz tag due to the announcement of the additional public holiday. Please see the below note attached.

Great White Tackle Gala Day

A big congratulations to all of our students who participated in the Great White Tackle Gala Day. What a day! The air was crisp, the mouthguards were in, and the energy at Barden Ridge was absolutely electric for our annual Tackle Gala Day. From the opening whistle to the final try, our players showed incredible grit and more importantly outstanding sportsmanship. Take a look at some of our teams!

Upcoming Representative Trials

We are progressing towards the end of our sporting trials for this term. Joshua G, Jack K, Ethan R and James S are patiently awaiting the Sydney Softball Trials which have been rescheduled twice due to wet weather. On Monday we Xavier D, Paul E, Ethan G, Hugo H, Dennis L, Scarlett L, Hudson S, Davis V and Jeremy W and Lily S who compete at Sydney Swimming. Finally Saige P will give it her best at the Conference Touch Trials. We are super proud of the many students reaching the Sydney level for representative sport. 

Next term we have the Boys Conference Touch Trials, The Sydney Cross Country Championships as well as the Sydney Rugby Union Trial.
