Construction Progress Update
Exciting progress continues on The Canticle, with our newest learning and community space rapidly coming to life and remaining on track for completion in March 2027.
Our latest construction timelapse captures the remarkable transformation that has taken place over recent months, showcasing the scale, precision and momentum of this significant project.
Since work commenced, several key milestones have been achieved:
- April 2026 – Foundations completed
- May 2026 – Lift shaft installation completed
- June 2026 – Level 1 structure completed
- July 2026 – Level 2 structure completed
August 2026 – Level 3 structure completed, with internal fit-out works now underway
Each milestone marks another step towards creating a dynamic and future-focused facility that will support teaching, learning and community connection for generations of Mount Alvernia College students.
As the structure rises above the College grounds, it is becoming easier to envision the opportunities The Canticle will provide. More than a building, it represents our commitment to investing in contemporary learning environments while honouring the values and vision that continue to shape Mount Alvernia College.
