Melbourne Vixens Visit - Ruby Shannon
Inspiring Our Year 5 Students
On Tuesday, 2 September, Ruby Shannon, a player from the Melbourne Vixens Netball Team, visited St John’s to speak with our Year 5 students. Ruby shared her experiences as a professional athlete, offering insights into the dedication, teamwork, and perseverance required to succeed at the highest level.
The students were also actively involved in netball drills under Ruby’s guidance, putting their skills into practice and gaining firsthand experience of professional training techniques.
District Athletics - Meadowglen Athletics Track
Congratulations to the 59 students who proudly represented St John’s at the District Athletics Carnival held at Meadowglen Athletics Track on Monday, 1 September.
It was a fantastic day of competition, effort, and sportsmanship. Our students participated with great enthusiasm and showed true St John’s spirit throughout the event. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and the way they supported one another.
