✨ Unlocking Maths Success With IXL Online Learning✨
At St John’s, we are continuously looking for ways to support our students in developing strong mathematical skills both at school and at home. Currently, students are trialing the online Maths program IXL in Term 3 and Term 4.
IXL is an engaging platform that allows students to practise key mathematical skills at their own pace. It provides immediate feedback, tailored recommendations, and step-by-step support to help strengthen understanding.
One of the great advantages of IXL is that it can also be accessed at home. This means students can continue practising the strategies they are learning in class, further boosting their confidence and improving learning outcomes. Even a few minutes of IXL practice each day can make a big difference!
Using IXL at home is a wonderful way to complement classroom learning. Even short, regular practice sessions can make a big difference in improving accuracy, strengthening problem-solving skills, and boosting overall learning outcomes. The interactive format helps students stay engaged and motivated, while instant feedback allows them to learn from mistakes straight away.
We encourage families to make use of IXL as part of their child’s home learning routine. By practising Maths at home with IXL, students can reinforce classroom concepts, fill gaps in their understanding, and continue to grow as confident, capable mathematicians.
Please reach out to your child's teacher or myself if you would like the login details for your child to access IXL from home. We look forward to seeing how IXL helps our students grow in their mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills.
