Japan Trip – An Adventure to Remember!

What an incredible ten days our Year 5/6 students had on their Japan adventure!

A huge congratulations to our students, who demonstrated such wonderful resilience, curiosity and enthusiasm throughout the trip. From trying new foods and navigating unfamiliar places to taking part in new activities, experiencing different modes of transport and having a go at using their Japanese language skills, our students embraced every challenge and opportunity that came their way. They should be incredibly proud of themselves!

From the bright lights and cultural sights of Tokyo to our special visit to our sister school, the beautiful temples and traditions of Kyoto, and the moving and memorable experience of visiting Hiroshima, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Along the way, students made new memories, challenged themselves, learnt about Japanese culture and history, and — most importantly — had an absolute blast!

A very special thank you to our parent helpers and staff who made this adventure possible. A trip of this scale simply could not happen without the incredible support, organisation, patience and care of the adults who travelled with our students. From early mornings to late nights, there was always someone ready to help, encourage, organise and make sure our students were safe and enjoying themselves. We are incredibly grateful for everything they contributed.

It was wonderful to see our students grow in confidence and independence throughout the journey, and we hope this adventure is one they will remember for many years to come.
