Term 4 Important Dates

Welcome Back!

Welcome back everyone to the final school term of 2026. We had a glimpse of a couple of warm and sunny days over the break - hopefully a taste of more to come! As you can see in our list of important dates above, there certainly is lots ahead to look forward to. We can’t wait to kick into the learning and fun this term at Scotsburn!

Prep Pre-Schooler Program

Our Prep preschooler program begins this Wednesday morning, and continues for the next 4 weeks. We can’t wait to welcome in our new preps to take part in this important program, as part of our commitment to providing students and families with a smooth transition into beginning school in 2027.

Mr and Mrs Morgan Long Service Leave

A reminder that for the first two weeks of Term 4, Mr and Mrs Morgan will be on long service leave. Mrs Cooper and Mrs Domaschenz will be teaching in SC2 while they are away. Both Mrs Cooper and Mrs D are very familiar with Scotsburn and our students, which is great. Sally Kennedy will be covering Scotsburn Specialists and we know she will do a fantastic job, and has really enjoyed her time as a CRT at Scotsburn in the past. 

For the next two weeks, if you need to contact the school for any reason, please direct enquiries to our Scotsburn staff, Mr Conlan or the Buninyong office. 

Celebration of Learning

On the last Wednesday of Term 3, we held our annual Celebration of Learning. This was once again a huge success, with a big turn out throughout the night. Students took centre stage, leading family members through each learning space, and discussing their learning. Families were even put to the test with some Maths Daily Reviews and numeracy games. A highlight of the night was students having a chance to have a play on the oval and in the yard, while parents mingled. Thank you everyone for your attendance!

New Basketball Court

The new basketball court is up and running! How incredible that we now have a space that is not only dedicated to basketball, but also another large concrete area for Physical Education and outdoor games. We are sure this will get lots of use! 

Ramp Works

If you pop into the campus this week at all, you will notice that our ramp works have been moving along nicely and shouldn’t be far away from being fully completed. These works will be important to continue to improve our accessibility across the campus. 

Disco - next Friday 16th October 

HEROES and VILLAINS!

The battle is on! Our school disco is coming, and we’re calling on all our heroes and villains to get dressed up and hit the dance floor! (or casual clothes if dressing up is not your thing)

Get ready for an epic night of music, dancing, costumes and plenty of fun!

Let the disco begin!

Whole School Assembly - this Friday 9th October

This Friday we have our first whole school assembly for the term, starting the day at the Buninyong Campus. As is our usual routine, we will meet in the courtyard at 8:45am. If your child has any books to return to the library, please send them along as well. 

After assembly at Buninyong we will bus back to Scotsburn, with usual Scotsburn dismissal at the end of the day.

2027 Scotsburn Enrolments
