Prayer 

Loving God,

Thank you for our grandparents and special people who share their love, wisdom, stories and time with us.

We are grateful for the hugs, laughter, encouragement and guidance that help us to learn, grow and feel loved.

Bless all grandparents and special people in our Sacred Heart community. May they feel valued and appreciated.

We also remember with love those who are no longer with us. May the beautiful memories we hold in our hearts bring comfort to their families.

May our school community always be a place where everyone is welcomed, valued and connected through love.

 🌟 Grandparents & Special Friends Day🌟

Monday 26 October | 9:00–10:45 am 🎶

We look forward to warmly welcoming our grandparents and special friends to Sacred Heart for a special morning with our students! Guests are invited to spend time in the classroom followed by morning tea in the Multipurpose Room. Our wonderful school choir will also share a special performance. 

We look forward to celebrating the special people in our children’s lives and sharing this lovely occasion together.

Prayers in Pyjamas

Foundation, Year One and Year Two families are warmly invited to join us for Prayers in Pyjamas on Thursday 29 October, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Celebrating Our Foundation & Year 1 Assembly

A very big thank you to Terri, Tina, Madeline, Marty and Palwasha for preparing such a wonderful assembly with our Foundation and Year 1 students. The children did an excellent job, and it was lovely to see their confidence, enthusiasm and learning shine through! 

Congratulations to all our students who received awards at assembly. We are so proud of your efforts, achievements and the wonderful ways you continue to learn and grow. Keep shining! 💚🌟

🌈Getting Ready for Foundation 2027!

Our 2027 Foundation Transition Session was a wonderful success! It was lovely to see our newest little learners exploring their classrooms, getting to know one another and beginning to feel at home at Sacred Heart. The children also enjoyed making music with Kate and taking part in activities with Marty and their buddies. It was wonderful to see their smiles, enthusiasm and growing confidence as they became more familiar with their new school.

We are so excited to welcome our Foundation children and their families to the Sacred Heart community in 2027! 💚

We have a few places available for Foundation 2027. If you know a family with a child starting school next year, we would love you to spread the word and invite them to visit Sacred Heart. We look forward to welcoming new families into our community.

Collecting Plastic Lids 

For STEAM lessons this term, I am collecting plastic lids for future activities such as building wind powered vehicles. We will need lots of plastic lids from milk, juice or soft drink containers. If you have any of these or would like to help by collecting the lids from the containers you use, it would be very much appreciated. Send the lids to school with your child to give to their teacher. Thank you very much.
