MS Walkathon

The SPC community is encouraged to support this year's MS Walkathon in May.

Ann-Maree O'Neil, the mother of Old Collegian Sean O'Neil (SPC 2007-12), has Multiple Sclerosis and is inviting members of our community to support her cause at Lake Wendouree on 26 May. See below for further information or to register/donate.

Support Connor Smith

Our thoughts and prayers are with Old Collegian Connor Smith (SPC 2015-2020) and his family after Connor was seriously injured in a recent accident at a gold mine in Ballarat.

A GoFundMe fundraiser has been set up by a member of the extended family to help support Connor's long road to recovery. To contribute, please click on this link:

Seeking foster carers

CAFS is seeking more foster carers to provide homes for children in out-of-home care.

On any given day there are about 1,600 children in foster care placements in Victoria and about 470 children in residential care. The number of children in out-of-home care in Victoria is increasing while the number of foster carers is decreasing (AIHW 2023).

To learn more about becoming a foster carer, CAFS invites you to attend an upcoming information session. Register your interest by scanning the QR code, calling 1800 692 237 or visiting cafs.org.au.
