Camp Australia

Welcome to another exciting fortnight at St Peter’s OSHC!
We have had a wonderful and busy fortnight filled with creativity, construction, teamwork, learning and lots of opportunities for children to share their ideas and interests. It has been fantastic to see children taking the lead, working together and encouraging one another during our experiences.
Big Art & Creativity.
Our children have been enjoying plenty of opportunities to express their creativity through art and craft. Children have explored different materials, colours and techniques while creating their own unique artworks. We have encouraged children to use their imagination and make their own choices about what they would like to create. LEGO &
Construction LEGO has been a favourite with many of our children. Children have been working together to design and build large structures, including multi-level houses. They have shared ideas, solved problems and supported each other as they developed their creations. It has been wonderful to see children demonstrating persistence and teamwork as they work through challenges and make changes to their designs.
Yarning Circle & Children’s Voice.
Our Yarning Circle continues to provide an opportunity for children to share their ideas, listen to others and participate in meaningful conversations. We have been encouraging children to contribute their own suggestions for activities and experiences they would like to explore at OSHC.
Coming Up – SCIENCE WEEK!
We are very excited to announce that Science Week is coming up! During Science Week, children will have the opportunity to explore, investigate and experiment through fun, hands-on STEM experiences. We value children's voices and use their interests and ideas to help guide our program.
Culture & Community.
We continue to create opportunities for children to learn about and respect different cultures andperspectives. Through our conversations, stories, greetings, activities and group experiences, children are developing an understanding that everyone has unique backgrounds, traditions and experiences.
Learning Through Play.
Across the fortnight, children have enjoyed a range of indoor and outdoor experiences, including board games, drawing, colouring, construction, imaginative play and physical games.
A Message to Our Families.
Thank you to all our families for your continued support and for sharing your children's interests and ideas with us. Your feedback helps us create a program that is meaningful, engaging and responsive to the children. We look forward to another exciting fortnight of learning, exploring, creating and having fun together OSHC!
