National Volunteer Week
This National Volunteer Week, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the incredible parents and carers who generously give their time to support our school community.
Whether it’s helping at events, organising activities, volunteering behind the scenes, fundraising, attending working bees, or simply stepping in whenever needed — your support is what helps bring our school community together. Your dedication, energy, and willingness to show up for our students and families does not go unnoticed.
School events and initiatives simply wouldn’t be possible without the amazing volunteers who continue to give their time so generously. Thank you for helping create a welcoming, connected, and supportive environment for everyone.
We also look forward to celebrating Global Parents Day on Monday 1 June with a special breakfast to acknowledge and celebrate all the wonderful parents and carers for the amazing job they do raising, supporting, and guiding our children every day. Thank you for the care, encouragement, and love you give, and for the important role you play in shaping our school community. We hope you can join us as we celebrate you.

Global Day of Parents
As part of our celebrations for Global Day of Parents on Monday 1 June, we are looking for volunteers (who have a current WWCC and have completed an OHS Induction) to help make our Parents Day Breakfast a wonderful community event.

⏰ Breakfast Event: 7:30am – 8:45am
Breakfast Pre-Orders:
You can use the Qkr! app to pre-order the following, or purchase on the day:
$10 - Bacon + Egg Roll
$10 - Mushroom + Egg Roll
$ 8 - Egg Roll
We are seeking assistance with:
Set up before the event - from 7.00am (x2 people required)
Serving food and taking payments (x6 people required)
Pack up and clean up from 8.45am (x2 people required)
General help throughout the morning (x2 people required)
These events are only possible thanks to the support of our amazing parent and school community and any time you can offer — even for a short period — would be greatly appreciated.
