Celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation

Congratulations to our Grade 6 candidates, Peter and Zach, who celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation on Saturday, 1 August, at St Brendan’s Church, together with candidates from across our Western Port Parish.

Peter and Zach should be very proud of the wonderful preparation they undertook and of the respectful and reverent way they participated in the Mass. It was such a special occasion as they took this important step in their faith journey, surrounded by family, school staff, friends and our parish community.

God of Love,

We give thanks for the gift of faith and for the journey we share together. We pray that you continue to strengthen and inspire us all to live out the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

May the grace of Confirmation enrich the lives of our candidates, deepen their faith and guide their choices. May we, as a community, continue to encourage and support one another as we grow in faith, hope and love.

May the Father bless us,

May Jesus walk beside us and 

May the Holy Spirit guide, encourage and strengthen us always.
