Congratulations to our June Aussie of the Month Recipients for 2026
We are incredibly proud to recognise these students for the positive contribution they make to our school community each and every day.
Throughout the month, these students consistently demonstrated our School Values and Learner Qualities through their kindness, resilience, positive attitude and commitment to learning. Staff highlighted the way they support others, take pride in their work, show initiative and contribute positively to their classrooms and the wider school community.
A huge congratulations to Christie, Hunter and Tex on receiving this well-deserved recognition. We can't wait to see you wearing your Aussie of the Month pin and proudly displaying your School Values badge. Thank you for being such positive role models and for making Lockleys North Primary School a great place to learn.

Our Student Ambassadors had the difficult task of selecting the winning designs. After much discussion, they chose one winner from the Junior Primary (Reception–Year 2) and one from the Primary (Years 3–6) categories.
A big congratulations again to Frankie (M4) and Sophie (T16) on being named our 2026 School Disco Poster Competition winners! Their fantastic artwork will be used to help promote this year's disco.

A big thank you to all of the families who have already completed the volunteer Google Form. We have received a fantastic response, and your willingness to help is greatly appreciated. If you haven't had a chance to respond yet and are available to volunteer on the night, we would love to hear from you. Events like our School Disco are only possible because of the generosity and support of our parent community.
We can't wait to celebrate another fantastic School Disco with our LNPS community and look forward to seeing everyone on the dance floor!

We're excited to announce that Active Lunch is back for Semester 2!
Active Lunch provides students with a fun and inclusive opportunity to stay active, build friendships and enjoy a range of games and activities during the lunch break.
Sessions run from 1:00 pm – 1:25 pm on the following days:
Friday: Fisher students
A huge thank you to our Student Ambassadors, who did an outstanding job setting up and preparing all of the equipment on Monday and Tuesday ready for students to enjoy. Their leadership and enthusiasm helped ensure a smooth start to the program.
It was fantastic to see such a great turnout during our first week, with many of our new Reception students joining in alongside our Mellor students. From team games to individual challenges, there was something for everyone, and it was wonderful to see students being active, trying new activities and having fun together.
We look forward to another successful term of Active Lunch and can't wait to see even more students getting involved throughout the semester!

Statewide Inclusive Education Services (SIES) holds free forums each term for parents and carers of students with disability. The theme for this term is ‘Supporting parent/carer wellbeing ...avoiding burnout’.
The session will offer: a cultural mindful activity, insight into what overwhelm is and how it can affect parents/carers, and practical strategies to support parent/carer wellbeing.
