At Colac Area Health, we are dedicated to serving the elderly in our community through our Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS). This invaluable program provides companionship and friendship to individuals 65+ who may be feeling isolated or lonely. As you may be aware, social isolation has been linked with adverse health consequences including depression, poor sleep quality, impaired executive function, accelerated cognitive decline, and impaired immunity at every stage of life. Our volunteers play a crucial role in brightening the lives of our community members through regular visits and meaningful interactions. 

We are currently seeking compassionate individuals who are willing to commit a small amount of their time to join our team of volunteers. The commitment is flexible and manageable, allowing volunteers to make a significant impact with just a small investment of time.
