Year 9 Camp

Our Year 9 cohort rounded out 2025 with a fabulous three days at the Phillip Island Adventure Resort from the 8th-10th December. Students enjoyed the beautiful weather and took part in a range of activities and experiences including Surfing, Flying Fox, Canoeing, Giant Swing, Team Rescue, Raft Making, Ball Games, Amaze ‘n Things, Trivia and Night Beach Walks.

Students were able to make new friendships, cement existing ones, step outside their comfort zone, take on new challenges, work as part of a team and take on different responsibilities – some of our students also experienced very early wake ups for morning surfing which once in the water, they all thoroughly enjoyed!

We would like to thank the wonderful staff from VSC who assisted with such professionalism and support of our students throughout the entire three days, for the Events Co-ordinators for their wonderful preparation work in the months leading up to the camp and the staff from the Adventure Resort, Island Surf and Amaze ‘n Things for their care.

We would also like to especially thank the students for their excellent conduct throughout the camp, their willingness to give everything a go and their support of one another and the staff. We hope it has generated a great set of memories to take you forward into your Year 10 year.
