Hockey Nationals

Congratulations to Molly and Sophie Schmude, who competed at Hockey Nationals last week. They played games all week against the other states and finished with 6 wins. NSW finished in first place and won the gold medal. Both girls starred for the team and Molly had the honour of being team captain.

O'Connor Fitness Clinics

Students from O'Connor in Year 11  conducted fitness and games clinics with Year 5 and 6 students this week. This is a program that will run over 3 sessions and O'Connor students will guide a variety of different activities. St Mary's students enjoyed the activities and O'Connor students were fantastic with their delivery of the drills and rotations.

Soccer and Netball Gala Day.

Students in year 3-6 are being offered the opportunity to compete in Inverell on Thursday, 25th September in a soccer and netball gala day. An expression of interest has gone out on Compass and parents are asked to complete this if your child wants to participate on this day. We require parent helpers to help run teams on the day. If any parents can help with this it would be greatly appreciated.
