From the Head of Sport

Head of Sport Report

Thank you to all those students who made a good commitment to their winter sports. I am looking forward to the same for the summer season.

Summer sport teams have now been selected, and training will commence in Week 9. All players are reminded to wear BMGS gear to training and to arrive on time. Our coaches generously give their time, often coming straight from their own jobs so I ask that all players show respect and appreciation by being punctual and prepared.

The ISA summer competition commences on the 25th October with 6 rounds in Term 4 and 4 rounds in Term 1 leading up to semi-finals.

PLEASE NOTE

Round 7 of the Summer ISA competition will be held on Saturday 31st January. This is the Saturday prior to school commencing on the Monday. Training will take place as usual in the week prior to the 31st January. Please mark this in your calendar so that you remember that this is a compulsory game day and training week.

Those students who are newly selected to the Firsts in their sport will need to order a new singlet.

All those who need a uniform you must have this ordered by Tuesday 16th September.
