The Heart of the Matter Pilot

On Friday the 4th of September we welcomed the pilot group of our brand new faith formation program, The Heart of the Matter. With a focus on our collective vocation, the group from across our Tamworth schools connected over good food and even better conversation. We can’t wait to see how the next few weeks unfold as we walk alongside this group on their formation journey.

World Youth Day

ACS plans to take a delegation of young staff between 18 and 35 years of age on pilgrimage to World Youth Day Seoul 2027. This is open to all staff within the age range, not exclusively teaching staff.

New Staff Induction

All new staff to the diocese under the accreditation to work, teach and lead are required to attend an induction day in Armidale. The term 4 date is 30th October

Engaging Your Faith (EYF) is back in October

Catholic Theological College invites you to EYF online presentation series. The series features nine stand-alone sessions on a range of themes, presented by CTC staff. For further details, please see the website.

The Angelus

Many of our schools will be officially implementing the Angelus over the coming weeks. The Angelus is a Marian prayer structured by the Incarnation in Luke 1:26-38. This Gospel passage provides the narrative foundation for the prayer, recounting the divine mystery of Mary’s encounter with the Archangel Gabriel. The prayer has three moments inviting reflection on each part of this divine event and thusly repeats the Hail mary three times, each time with a focus on a different moment.
