 What an Amazing Day!

The Badenoch Sunshine Trophy - LNPS HOUSE CUP WINNER - PIERSON HOUSE

What a fantastic Sports Day we had at LNPS! We were treated to perfect weather, which set the scene for a wonderful day of participation, competition, teamwork and school spirit. It was fantastic to see so many families join us throughout the day to cheer on our students and contribute to such a positive community atmosphere.

A huge congratulations to Pierson on winning the Badenoch Sunshine Trophy – LNPS Sports Day House Cup! Well done also to all of our houses and students for the outstanding way they participated. From our Health Hustle practices and 800m events in the lead-up, through to Sports Day itself, our students demonstrated fantastic effort, sportsmanship and our LNPS values. Congratulations also to all of our Championship Sprinters and Reception–Year 6 relay runners. You represented your houses brilliantly and should be very proud of your efforts.

Sports Day is also a tremendous community effort, and we would like to sincerely thank everyone who helped make the day possible. Our bake sale was an incredible success, with the Library filled with an amazing variety of generously donated baked goods. Thank you to every family who contributed and to our wonderful volunteers who gave their time to sell items and keep everything running throughout the day.

A special thank you to Abbie Eggers, Tanielle Morgan, Adam Morgan, Libby Poole, Jelena, Julia Crossman, Renee, David Pascoe, Kirsty, Anthony Newman, Kim Green, Tom Broomhead, Abbey Broderick, Courtnay Fielder, Jade Erlandsen, Bonnie Ireland, Kyra Staak and Ashlee Larsen for generously giving their time and helping everything run so smoothly. Your support was greatly appreciated!

Along with the bake sale, BBQ and raffle, the incredible support of our community helped raise over $4,000 for LNPS! Thank you also to the businesses and community members who generously donated prizes to our raffle, and congratulations to all of our prize winners.

Finally, a huge thank you to our students, Sports Day Committee, staff, families and volunteers for making Sports Day such an enjoyable and memorable event. Days like this highlight the wonderful community spirit we have at LNPS.
