3-4 S.A.K.G 

This term, we welcome the Year 3 students and new volunteers in our kitchen garden program. What a lovely bunch of enthusiastic little people who just love getting their hands dirty in the garden. We learnt about composting, watering, weeding and planting.

This week, we made a variety of vegetable pizzas and served them with a garden salad using the winter greens and capsicum harvested in the garden. In 3A volunteers supported in our cooking activities, thanks to Aaron (Hazel’s Dad) and Jennifer (Lily’s grandma). Everyone absolutely enjoyed the food prepared using newly learnt bridge and claw knife techniques.
