Parents and Friends Association

Dear Families,
We’re holding a Working Bee to give our grounds a bit of a refresh, and we’d love your help!
Date: Wednesday August 5
Time: 3:45 - 5pm (ish)
Location: Meet outside the office on the basketball courts
Mr Trend and our gardeners are formulating a list of areas that will need attention on the day.
Tasks to be carried out will generally include:
- Simple gardening, pruning, weeding around the grounds and play spaces
- General tidying and cleaning up play spaces and grounds with blowers, rakes and shovels.
Helpful items to bring:
- We will have a small selection of things to use at school, but you might like to bring your own blower, rake, shovel, gloves, pruners, hedge trimmer, whipper-snipper, wheelbarrow, etc if you have them.
Pizza will be provided at the end (approx 5pm) as a thank-you for your time and effort. Our pizza order is being organised by Lucy, our wonderful PFA president.
Please indicate if you will be able to attend the working bee and/or joining us for pizza by completing the following quick survey:

These events are a great way to meet other families, get involved, and help create a safe, beautiful play space for our students. Even if you can only spare an hour, every bit helps!
Thank you for your support. We can’t wait to see our community come together to give our school grounds some love!
Warm regards,
Kate Seyer, Jono Trend & the RNPS PFA
