Where are they now?

Will M A. finished Year 12 in 2024 and completed a school-based apprenticeship and traineeship (SBAT). His hard work paid off when he won an award at The Gordon Award for Excellence 2025.

Will also received a Certificate of Excellence at the Master Builders Victoria South West Region Apprentice of the Year Award 2025.

These achievement highlights his dedication and skill, showing how well he balanced school and hands-on experience.

Since leaving Surf Coast Secondary College, our students continue to shine in a wide range of fields, demonstrating the strong foundation they built during their time at school.

We'd like to congratulate Henry W. on starting his Traineeship with the team at Surf Coast Shire.

Henry who was very keen to enter the workforce meet with Victorian Group Training about leaving school and finding employment. After a few discussions Henry decided he would like to try something in the parks and garden industry which has led to him starting a Traineeship in Certificate III in Arboiculture.
