Year 10 Outdoor Environmental Studies - Canoe Journey

On 31st March our year 10 Outdoor Environmental Studies students departed on a 4 day canoeing journey.

Students demonstrated amazing teamwork, problem solving  and leadership throughout the camp where they paddled down the Glenelg River on a journey-based camp adventure.

Students showed excellent independence, carrying all their sleeping gear, clothing, and meals with them. The preparation they did at school using trangia's and meal planning helped them to navigate the great outdoors successfully and enjoy the adventure!

Students were lucky enough to catch and cook their own fish, spot multiple koalas and an abundance of beautiful bird life. An excellent camp with a great group of students that we were extremely proud of!

Well done to all involved and a big thank you to Miss Wyatt for her excellent organisation skills!
