Acknowledgement to country

We at Marangaroo Primary school

Would like to say thank you to the Noongar people of the Wadjuk country.

For letting us share this land:

We promise to look after,

The land, the animals, and our people.

School Photos

School photos took place onsite today and are available to order through the unique QR code provided to each student on 19 March.

If you cannot locate your unique QR code, you will need to visit Kapture.com.au

Orders must be placed by 12 April to avoid a late fee.

Swimming Lessons

Swimming Lessons information and permission slips were issued to P-6 students this week. Please ensure the green and orange forms are completed and returned to the classroom teacher by 1 May. The payment can be made using EFT at the front office or by direct credit to the school bank account details given on the form. We CANNOT accept cash payments.

No Hat No Play

Marangaroo PS is a Sunsmart school which means that we recognise that UV levels peak in the middle of the day and that as the UV Index rises, the associated risk of skin damage also increases. A SunSmart School has a sun protection policy and practices in place which aim to reduce over-exposure to UV.

As part of our sun protection policy, students are asked to play under cover if they do not have a hat.

Students are required to bring their own hat to school and should keep the hat in their bag or their classroom tray so that it is easily accessible. We do not have any hats available to borrow in the front office anymore.

Late Arrivals

A reminder to parents and students, that if your child is not in their class by the time the morning siren goes, they are required to enter school through the front office. This allows students to be marked in attendance and ensures that attendance records are accurate.
