Industrial Action Continues

Wednesday 13th May- Half Day Strike

The AEU has advised that further industrial action, including stop-work action, will occur across Victorian government schools this term. 

I thank families for your continued understanding and support of our staff. Please be assured that our staff do not make decisions regarding industrial action lightly and always with the broader interests of our profession and students in mind. 

We will continue to communicate updates as soon as official information becomes available, and we will provide as much notice as possible to support families in their planning. 

Our AEU sub branch has informed me that they will be taking half a day stop action on Wednesday 13th May. There will not be classes for students for the first half- the morning of this day for classes of  teachers who are striking. Students of these classes will NOT be marked as absent. Any child who does not attend school due to strike action will NOT be marked absent.

As soon as we have confirmed details of classes then we will inform parents and carers.
