Duke of Ed Volunteers Required

Are you interested in volunteering for the Duke of Edinburgh Camp in 2025?

The Duke of Edinburgh Award provides students with valuable opportunities to develop resilience, leadership skills, and self-confidence through challenging outdoor experiences

We are seeking dedicated parent volunteers to support our October expedition to Bunyip State Park.

This rewarding volunteer opportunity involves accompanying students on their two-day hiking and camping journey, where you will play a vital role in their personal development and achievement.

As a volunteer, you will witness firsthand the growth and determination of young people as they overcome challenges and build lasting memories.

Volunteer Requirements:

  • Ability to complete a 30km hike over two days, including some steep terrain
  • Possession of appropriate camping equipment
  • Willingness to participate in basic outdoor camping conditions
  • Commitment to supporting student safety and wellbeing

We welcome applications from all interested parents, regardless of whether your child is participating in this particular experience. Your enthusiasm for outdoor activities will contribute significantly to the success of this program.

The Duke of Edinburgh Award creates transformative experiences for young people, and your involvement as a volunteer is essential to making these opportunities possible. You will return from this experience with a deep sense of satisfaction, knowing you have contributed to students' personal growth and achievement.
