Child Safe Standard 10 – Continuous Review and Improvement

At St Michael’s, the safety and wellbeing of every child remains our highest priority.

Child Safe Standard 10 focuses on the importance of regularly reviewing and improving our child safety policies, procedures and practices to ensure they remain effective and responsive to the needs of our students.

This includes listening to student and family voices, reflecting on our practices, reviewing concerns and incidents, and providing ongoing professional learning for staff.

Child safety is a shared responsibility, and we value the important partnership between school and home. We encourage families to share feedback and engage in conversations that help us continue to strengthen our child-safe culture.

Together, we can ensure St Michael’s remains a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where every child feels heard, valued and protected.

Each month for the next ten months we will spotlight each of the 11 Child Safety Standards. MACS has developed resources  to support a deepened understanding of the standards for parents and teachers and how they help support the safety of each child.

Run for Autism – Our St Michael’s Community

We are delighted to share that several St Michael’s families are participating in Run for Autism, raising awareness and funds to support autistic people and their families.

It is wonderful to see members of our school community coming together to champion inclusion, understanding and acceptance of neurodiversity.

We congratulate all our participating families for their commitment to making a positive difference. Your efforts are a beautiful reflection of the compassion, respect and community spirit we value at St Michael’s.
