Preps Beginning Full Time Schooling

From next week, our fabulous Prep students will begin full-time learning after enjoying a rest day each Wednesday during their first month of school. 

As they adjust to the longer week, there may be a few tired students over the coming weeks. We thank our parents/carers and staff in advance for their continued support as our Prep students settle into their full-time routine.

Bulldogs Read

We have once again been selected to participate in the Bulldogs Read Literacy Program in 2026, with Year 5 identified as the area of focus. 

17 students in Year 5 have been selected to participate this year and they are all very excited about being involved.

Last night, students were invited to attend a parent information session with a parent or carer at the Ballarat Library to find out all the details about the exciting year ahead.

The first engagement day will take place next March 2nd, which is the Bulldogs Read Welcome Launch Day and excitingly, there will be Western Bulldogs AFL and AFLW players in attendance!

Students will  hear from  some Bulldogs players with a Q & A, along with an opportunity for player signings.

There will be many more opportunities that these students will have available to them throughout the year, which we look forward to sharing with the broader school community.

A reminder to parents and carers of year 3 and 5 students to please provide headphones for your child that are compatible with your child’s device or school owned device. Please speak with your child’s classroom teacher if you are unsure about which headphones you require. There are some very reasonably priced options available at all the large retail stores, like those pictured below.
