Years 3 & 4

Our 3/4 students investigated the significance of the Dragon Boat Festival (端午节). They explored the stories behind the celebration, discovered regional food traditions, and learned how communities mark the occasion through exciting dragon boat races.

To bring their learning to life, students planned, constructed, and decorated their own dragon boats before contributing to a collaborative class display. The opportunity to combine cultural learning with creativity and teamwork was a highlight for many students.
