ABCN Money Mastery Workshop

On Thursday 4th September, a group of Year 9, 10 and 11 students attended the offices of Acenda, a life insurance company located in the Melbourne CBD. Over the course of the day, students worked their way through a number of workshops and activities facilitated by Acenda employees focusing on how to maximise their wealth acquisition, as well as about their rights and responsibilities in the workplace. Some of the student feedback regarding the day was as follows:

It helped me learn about money and how to maximise my earnings for the greatest outcomes
I learnt about investing and whether or not a proposal was a sound or risky investment
The program was useful in teaching me about money, budgeting and my rights when working and I really enjoyed this program
Because now I know how to spend and save my money and I have learnt good investment skills and any scams I may encounter
