Class Captains

Class Captain Election
Truganina P-9 College values student leadership and is committed to developing all students as active leaders, learners and citizens. An important part of this commitment is through opportunities to take on formal positions of responsibility.
Over the past few weeks, students have passionately expressed their interest in becoming Class Captains, demonstrating both dedication and enthusiasm throughout the process.
They worked diligently to prepare thoughtful speeches, confidently sharing their ideas and aspirations to make a positive impact on our school community. Their genuine intentions have driven them to step forward and ensure their voices are heard, showcasing student voices and reflecting a strong sense of responsibility and commitment.
Students interested in the role were required to submit an expression of interest, write and deliver a speech to their class and be voted on by their peers. Through this experience, students have actively practised their agency, showcasing not only leadership potential but also a clear understanding of the Truganina P–9 College student leadership framework. Successful candidates should be proud that they have had their leadership skills recognised by their classmates.
