CAREERS/PATHWAYS & HEADSTART
Congratulations to Rhianna Mouvet
Morrisby Profiling - 30 March to 1 April, 2026
A huge shout out to Year 12 student Rhianna Mouvet, who is thriving in her School-Based Traineeship through the HeadStart program. Rhianna is completing her traineeship in early childhood education with Great Start Early Learning Centre, where she is gaining hands-on experience, building professional skills, and making a real difference in the lives of young children.

Programs like HeadStart provide students with meaningful pathways into employment, allowing them to develop practical skills while finishing school. We commend Rhianna for her commitment, maturity, and positive attitude, and we sincerely thank her employer.
Rhianna loves being able to come to school and still see her friends, while also heading to work two days a week to gain real hands-on experience. She does an excellent job balancing work commitments, her school work AND work that she has to stay on top of through SuniTAFE to complete her Certificate. We are incredibly proud of her and encourage her to keep up the amazing work!
The Department of Education gives every year 9 Victorian Government school student free access to the world leading Morrisby online career education tool. Morrisby helps your child make informed choices for senior secondary school and beyond by exploring their strengths, interests and career opportunities. We need your consent to give your child access to Morrisby and to commence the profiling process.
A Morrisby Information and Registration session for students will take place on Monday, 30th March, 2026. The profiling activity will commence on Tuesday, 31st March, 2026. A catch up session will be held on Wednesday, 1st April, 2026 and on an individual basis after that.
Parents will be sent a Compass Event this week. If you provide consent digitally (Opt-in), through this Compass event your child will be eligible to complete the Morrisby online questions and quizzes to create a unique profile and to receive a one-to-one 30 minute Career Consulting meeting in Term 2 which you can attend. If you need a telephone interpreting service then please let us know. Students who may not be ready to engage in the full profile at this stage can undertake the Optional Aptitudes profiling pathway. This still requires parent consent.
