We are all very excited about our Athletics Carnival which will take place on Tuesday 22nd July at Hensley Park. Students have been full of energy this week as they've been practising their house cheers, building team spirit and excitement in the lead-up to the big day.

After a refreshing holiday break, everyone will return ready to run, jump, and cheer one another on in a fun-filled celebration of sportsmanship and teamwork. Families are invited to attend and cheer from the sidelines—don’t forget your house colours!

Let the countdown begin! 🎽🥇

Some students at STMM have been very fortunate to have the opportunity to try some karate at lunch time in recent weeks. Every Thursday, our karate instructor has been visiting to teach students fundamental techniques such as basic stances, punches, and blocks. The sessions have focused on developing coordination, self-control, and respect—core values in martial arts that complement our school’s learning goals.

It’s been wonderful to see students growing in confidence and enthusiasm each week. Some have even taken to leading their peers in warm-ups or demonstrating combinations with pride!
