INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS NETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

🏐 EIS Netball
During the first week of the July school holidays, our EIS Netball students competed at the Waverley Netball Centre in the Waverley International Schools Netball Championships. Schools from across Australia Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, and Singapore took part in this fantastic event. We entered both a Senior and Junior team!
✨ Senior Team
Our Senior girls were very competitive throughout the tournament—impressively so, with some of our Year 9s stepping up to play in a higher age division! They showed great improvement across the week and finished strong, winning their placement final.
🌟 Junior Team
Our Junior team had an excellent four days, including a notable win against Hong Kong during the rounds.
🏆 Last Day Highlights
Both teams ended on a high, with great wins against Blackwood High School (SA) and Cornish College — a fantastic way to finish the tournament!
📊 Final Placings
🏐Senior Team: 16th out of 21 teams
🏐Junior Team: 14th out of 16 teams
🙏 Thank You!
🏐 Ms Wyatt for coaching the Senior team
🎓 Maddie Sands, an ex-LHS student currently on placement, for supporting both teams
🙌 Mr Hager for coming along on finals day to support our Senior girls
🥰 And the wonderful parents who made the daily trip to Waverley and cheered from the sidelines!
We’re incredibly proud of all the players and already looking forward to next year’s tournament with our new 2026 EIS Netball students! 💜💛🏐
