From the Classroom

In the Year 3/4 current English unit, students are reading The Tale of Despereaux by Kate DiCamillo, a novel set in a castle environment. To extend their understanding, students independently researched famous castles from around the world. They investigated the location, history, and interesting facts of their chosen castle, as well as how it was designed and built.

Students then organised their findings into structured PowerPoint presentations, with slides focusing on an introduction to the castle and details of its design and features.
