Some of our Grade 3–6 students recently represented the school with great pride at the District Cross Country event. Congratulations to all students who participated for their outstanding effort and determination on race day. It was fantastic to see students encouraging one another and giving their best across all age groups. Old Orchard finished 3rd overall, which is a fantastic achievement and something our whole school community should be proud of.

A big thank you also goes to the teachers who assisted on the day, Bonnie, Althea, and Ben, along with our parent volunteers, Meg, Joost, Andrew, Jess, and Andrew. Events such as these are only possible because of the support, encouragement, and assistance provided by our wonderful school community. Your help with supervision, marshalling, and cheering on our students was greatly appreciated.

We are especially proud to announce that 10 of our students have qualified to progress through to the Division Cross Country. Congratulations and best of luck to Tillie, Evie, Adeline, Charlie K, Lily B, Luke, Kotomi, Ivy R, Wes, and Tom. This is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of their hard work, persistence, and dedication. We wish them all the very best at the next stage of competition.
