Term 2

Welcome back to all our families, we hope you had a restful and relaxing break over the holidays.

Children have returned eagerly and excitedly, sharing stories of road trips, interstate stays and adventures at the zoo and parks.

Children have resettled into the kindergarten program very well, picking up where they left off, reconnecting with friends and educators. In the first week, children in both groups learnt about the significance of Anzac Day, listened to Anzac Ted the story and participated in creating a poppy. Children were able to understand and ask questions as they listened to stories, doing very well to absorb the information.

A few reminders to begin the term:

  • Please do not include NUT, EGG or SESAME products in children’s lunchboxes, we have children in attendance with life threatening anaphylaxis.

  • As the weather becomes a little chillier, please ensure children arrive with coats, beanies and gumboots can also be an option. Children play outdoors during the colder days and need to be properly dressed.

  •  Please ensure toys are kept at home, this includes cars and dolls.
