2025 CHOIR & ROCK BAND SHOWCASE

What an incredible afternoon of music at EPS!

Congratulations to all our Choir, Year 5 Rock Band, Year 6 Rock Band and Bladen Rock (our Year 5 student-led band) performers. On Thursday 11th December, each group delivered fantastic performances, showcasing the effort, hard work and talent they have developed throughout the school year. It was wonderful to see so many students on stage, performing with confidence for their peers and the wider EPS community.

A special acknowledgement goes to my 2025 Performing Arts Captains – Kino O, May G and Evie E for their outstanding leadership, support and organisation in the lead-up to the event, as well as their strong performances on stage and hosting skills.

Thank you to all the parents and carers who attended. Your encouragement means so much to our young musicians and your attendance on the day helped create a memorable performance opportunity for all the students involved. I was incredibly proud of every student, and I know you would have been too.

Our lunchtime choir and rock band programs continue to grow each year and 2025 has been our biggest year yet. The showcase was a wonderful way to celebrate all the student’s hard work, creativity and passion for music!

Looking forward to another amazing year of choir and rock bands in 2026!

The 2025 End of Year Picnic was a fantastic afternoon of music, community spirit and celebration as families gathered on the oval to mark the end of the 2025 school year.

Lunchbox20 brought an amazing energy to the event, and I know all the students, staff and community members loved your performance! I’d once again like to thank the band for their fundraising efforts at the 2025 Parent Battle of the Bands. The funds raised continue to support and improve our school music program, helping us purchase new instruments and equipment for students across all year levels.

A thank you must also go to all the EPS teachers, staff and community volunteers who helped organise and run the event. From coordinating food trucks and the BBQ, to supervising spaces and setting up equipment, your efforts ensured the picnic event ran smoothly and successfully.

Finally, thank you to Mark Barry for his outstanding sound engineering on the day. As per usual his expertise and equipment ensured that every performer sounded their very best.

It was a wonderful way to finish the year, thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making the EOY Picnic event such a success.
