Felix D - Prep D
Felix has had a wonderful year in Prep. He is kind and respectful to all students and teachers.
In literacy, Felix has worked exceptionally hard, developing his reading and writing skills this term. Felix solves unknown words when reading by persisting and using all his reading strategies. When writing, he uses his lower case letters, listens to the sounds in words and sits his letters on the dotted third lines. Recently, Felix wrote and illustrated a fantastic information report all about guinea pigs. Well done Felix and keep up the amazing work.
Raffy H - 3B
Raffy has demonstrated exceptional motivation in English throughout Term 4. She has shown a strong commitment to self-improvement, using her mistakes as opportunities to refine her work. She worked well with classmates to make improvements to her fantasy narrative, using amazing handwriting and correct spelling to create a well-polished piece of work. Congratulations on an outstanding finish to the year, Raffy!
Oscar P - 5B
Oscar has demonstrated strong reading skills, responding authentically to every text he encounters. He makes thoughtful connections between his reading, the real world, and his own experiences, enriching his understanding and interpretation. In writing, he takes great care to craft vivid settings and enjoyable pieces for his readers. Well done Oscar!

Zara applies strong grammatical skills that bring flair, clarity, and flow to every piece of her writing. She crafts engaging poetry, compelling narratives, persuasive arguments, and well-structured information texts with equal skill. Her thoughtful attention to language choices, sentence structure, and cohesion elevates her writing – making it both expressive and polished.

Lenny P - Prep B
Lenny has had a terrific year in Prep and is a valued member of our class.
Lenny is patient, thoughtful and persistent in all areas of learning and always does his best. In Maths he has taken time to develop his forwards and backwards oral counting starting at different points. Lenny has a strong understanding of how numbers can be made up and calmly shares and justifies his thinking with his peers and teacher.
Well done Lenny and keep up the great mathematician thinking!
Gaia J - 3A
Gaia has shown excellent progress and dedication in Maths, strengthening her skills in place value, multiplication, division and fractions. She confidently applies efficient strategies, asks clarifying questions and uses materials and visuals to clearly show her thinking.

Owen is already a fantastic mathematician, but this term he has taken his learning to the next level. He has shown all of his thinking and working-out in a clear, confident way, and has encouraged others to do the same.
