Felix D - Prep D

Felix has had a wonderful year in Prep. He is kind and respectful to all students and teachers.

In literacy, Felix has worked exceptionally hard, developing his reading and writing skills this term. Felix solves unknown words when reading by persisting and using all his reading strategies. When writing, he uses his lower case letters, listens to the sounds in words and sits his letters on the dotted third lines. Recently, Felix wrote and illustrated a fantastic information report all about guinea pigs. Well done Felix and keep up the amazing work. 

Raffy H  - 3B

Raffy has demonstrated exceptional motivation in English throughout Term 4. She has shown a strong commitment to self-improvement, using her mistakes as opportunities to refine her work. She worked well with classmates to make improvements to her fantasy narrative, using amazing handwriting and correct spelling to create a well-polished piece of work. Congratulations on an outstanding finish to the year, Raffy!

Oscar P - 5B

Oscar has demonstrated strong reading skills, responding authentically to every text he encounters. He makes thoughtful connections between his reading, the real world, and his own experiences, enriching his understanding and interpretation. In writing, he takes great care to craft vivid settings and enjoyable pieces for his readers. Well done Oscar!

Zara D - 5/6A

Zara applies strong grammatical skills that bring flair, clarity, and flow to every piece of her writing. She crafts engaging poetry, compelling narratives, persuasive arguments, and well-structured information texts with equal skill. Her thoughtful attention to language choices, sentence structure, and cohesion elevates her writing – making it both expressive and polished.

Mathematics

Lenny P - Prep B

Lenny has had a terrific year in Prep and is a valued member of our class. 

Lenny is patient, thoughtful and persistent in all areas of learning and always does his best. In Maths he has taken time to develop his forwards and backwards oral counting starting at different points. Lenny has a strong understanding of how numbers can be made up and calmly shares and justifies his thinking with his peers and teacher.

Well done Lenny and keep up the great mathematician thinking!

Gaia J - 3A

Gaia has shown excellent progress and dedication in Maths, strengthening her skills in place value, multiplication, division and fractions. She confidently applies efficient strategies, asks clarifying questions and uses materials and visuals to clearly show her thinking.

Well done Gaia, your hard work and positive attitude have led to outstanding growth!

Owen S - 5A

Owen is already a fantastic mathematician, but this term he has taken his learning to the next level. He has shown all of his thinking and working-out in a clear, confident way, and has encouraged others to do the same. This shows that he understands the maths behind his answers and really values the problem-solving process. Well done, Owen!

Emi H - 5/6A

Emi has shown remarkable curiosity across all subjects, engaging with particular enthusiasm in Maths through her dedication and perseverance. She has demonstrated a strong understanding of a range of strategies – such as using flowcharts and tables of values – to efficiently solve algebraic patterns.

Poppy Mc - Prep A

Poppy is a kind, thoughtful, and responsible member of Prep A who has modelled our classroom agreement beautifully all year. She always tries her very best and shows personal excellence in everything she does. Poppy listens carefully, shows respect to teachers and friends, and helps others with patience and care. She approaches every task with confidence, independence, and a positive attitude. Her determination, cheerful spirit, and caring nature make her a valued member of our class. Congratulations, Poppy!

Angus T - 3C

Angus has shown impressive focus and dedication to his learning this term, especially through his strong curiosity in mathematics and his ability to make thoughtful connections during problem-solving tasks. He approaches challenges with determination and a genuine interest in understanding new concepts. Angus is a respectful and engaged learner whose positive attitude and growing independence are commendable. Well done, Angus.

Chloe S - 5/6A

Although a quiet achiever, this term, Chloe consistently demonstrates a strong desire to achieve personal excellence across many learning areas. She is increasingly showing initiative, independence, and flexibility in both her decision-making and her approach to new and challenging concepts.

Jessica W - 6B

Jess consistently strives for her best. She demonstrates a strong work ethic in the classroom, as well as completing high quality homework each week. Jess comes to each lesson ready to learn and is willing to ask questions when she needs support. Jess’ dedication, organisation, and positive attitude has set her up well for a successful start to high school next year. Well done!

Xavier has had a fantastic year in Prep. He is a kind, thoughtful and creative student who has made outstanding progress in all subjects.

Xavier shows curiosity and inquisitiveness at school everyday. He is always asking questions to deepen his understanding during learning time and enjoys sharing his thoughtful thinking with his peers.

Aylah has shown great curiosity this term, by asking thoughtful questions and making connections between her life and her learning. Aylah knows when to ask for help, and is tackling classwork with increased independence as the year progresses. Athiei Malual

Athiei consistently demonstrates exceptional curiosity in mathematics, approaching each new concept with enthusiasm and a genuine desire to understand deeply. Her willingness to seek feedback and use it to improve her work reflects a mature and dedicated approach to learning. Well done Athiei!

Beau approaches every learning opportunity with genuine curiosity and a warm enthusiasm that lifts our classroom.
