Koorie News 🖤💛❤️

During Term 4, we visited Monash University Clayton for a KELiS event in which we had some interesting information on voting and civic duties. 

We also hosted a Transition Afternoon Tea for our incoming Grade 6 students to meet each other and form connections to the Koorie Program and our Koorie students.

But, our biggest news is, we are part of the program- Koorie Emerging Leaders in Schools (KELiS)- that WON the 2025 Victorian Education Excellence Award for Outstanding Koorie Education.

Congratulations to the entire team! From its conception, we’ve been part of this powerful program that continues to uplift and empower our young mob. Together, we’re breaking barriers and strengthening connections across our growing KELiS community—now spanning 17 schools across the Bayside Peninsula region.

Wishing all our DSC mob and families a magical Christmas and relaxing summer break.
