Scholastic Book Fair 2025

Last week, St Margaret Mary’s hosted our annual Scholastic Book Fair - and this year was one of our most successful yet!A heartfelt thank you to all the fathers who came along on Thursday, generously purchasing books for their children and showing wonderful support for our school.

Each year, Scholastic provides a percentage of the funds raised for us to reinvest into our learning spaces. This year, we’ve selected a small collection of books from the fair to add to our classrooms and library. In addition, we’ve earned over $700 in Scholastic rewards, which will be used to purchase further resources to support student learning.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this year’s fair. Your support helps nurture a love of reading and inspires the future authors and illustrators of St Margaret Mary’s.

As Walt Disney once said, “There is more treasure in books than in all the pirate’s loot on Treasure Island.”

The 2025 PRC has been extended

We have extended both the student and coordinator deadlines for public and non-government students to allow additional time for challenge completion.

Challenge opens: Monday 24 February 2025

Challenge closes to students: Extended to Friday 19 September 2025 (Week 9, Term 3)

Challenge closes to coordinators: Extended to Friday 26 September 2025 (Week 10, Term 3)

Term 3 Booklist update

The Term 3 2025 booklist is now live! 220 new books have been added to the booklists. Click on the image below, or visit the booklists page to check out the new titles added to the PRC booklists this year!
