A reading from the Prophet Jeremiah 29:11–14a
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord…
The word of the Lord
All: Thanks be to God
Dear God, Today we gather in gratitude, marking the end of a chapter in our lives as Year 12 students. We thank You for the friendships formed, the lessons learned, the challenges overcome, and the growth that has taken place, both in mind and in heart.
As we step into new beginnings, may we carry with us the values that have shaped our time at this College: Faith, service and a deep sense of community. May we remember that we are never alone, for You walk beside us.
Inspired by the example of St John Baptist de La Salle, may we continue to be people of courage and compassion, seeing the face of Christ in others, especially the poor, the vulnerable, and the forgotten. May we build lives not only of success, but of significance, lives that make a difference to others.
Help us to trust in Your plans, even when the path is unclear. May we seek wisdom, act justly, love tenderly, and walk humbly with You. Bless our families, teachers, and peers who have guided us in our journey.
And as they go forth, may we always remember: “Live Jesus in our hearts—forever.”
We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen.
